I wish you could really program a custom program. the custom programs 1 + 2 are limited to only 12 blocks making it almost useless. The profile programs have 50 blocks but you can't customize them, what were they thinking. For me a annoying program fault. I wish they would have a firmware update for this situation. I have been using this 2 years with no problems,it just works.

This machine, after I put it together with quiet some ease, was awesome ! I was so impressed on how sturdy and how well it compared to the 3000$ gym ellipticals. I'm glad i took my time putting it together, i'm using it everyday !! HIghly recommended

I am a petite woman who has had difficulty finding an elliptical trainer that could accomodate the fact that I have a smaller stride length than a man. This one can do it and it was the ONLY one we found, price and brand no object, that fit the bill. It's quiet, sturdy, easy to use, doesn't take up the whole house- and it FITS me. Wonderful piece of equipment. I have recommended this model to several people.

Great size--we wanted something small enough for the living room in our apt and it's perfect! it's quiet, so it doesn't disturb any neighbors. had a broken foot pedal, but this issue was rectified quickly and for free through customer service. fairly easy to put together--took about 2-3 hours. loving this machine!

An excellent machine for home use that is great for general fitness and a good low-impact workout.
The 431 is actually quite compact and can fit into smaller spaces than other machines of its type.
In use its very stable and has good options available throught the easy to read console.

The 431 is equipped with contact heart rate sensors and 3 Heart Rate Control (H.R.C) Programs. These programs enable you to choose to workout in 3 different heart rate zones;60% to 70% of max. heart rate, 70% to 80% of max. heart rate, and 80% to 90% of max. heart rate. The Schwinn Elliptical trainers are all equipped with transportation wheels on the front of the unit. These wheels are enabled once the unit is lifted by the handle at the back of the unit.
