This was a gift to myself and my family I checked out all the gyms and sporting facilities I wanted something we could do together so I bought this Schwinn and a nautilus because my teenager wouldn't go to a gym with me and my 10 year old was not allowed in the gym with me, it is the best investment I have ever made now we can all become more fit together and at anytime of the day or night we love it!

I was scared to buy such a large piece of gym equipment over the internet. It came earlier than it said it would, my husband had no trouble setting it up and we use it almost daily. I have a bad knee and figured it would be a waste of my money, but after going slow and allowing my knee to get used to it, I am up to 20-30 minutes with no pain at all. I was glad I could put it in my living room and watch TV in the privacy of my own home.

I bought this machine to alternate between it and an airdyne type bike. This machine is great for the legs and the cardio benefit.The only things I can see that would make it better is to design some type of arm movement like the bike. The seat could be a little more stable. I would however purchase this product again.

I bought the Schwinn 520 online and received it yesterday. It is heavy, you will need help getting it in the house and you want to assemble it in the spot you plan to use it. The assembly was about 2 hours, the instructions were very clear and the hardware was attached to cardboard designating size and quantity. I am 51 years old and put this together by myself with no problems. The operation is quiet (I don't have to turn up the TV to hear it) and smooth (I can read without the print jumping). Only drawback, really not a problem, is I had to be standing up to adjust the seat from the side, it took a couple of tries to find the right position. Like all ellipitcals, the first 10 minutes were the hardest on my legs, after that I could have stayed on another hour but only had time for 20 minutes. This machine replaces a treadmill that was loud and boring. I will use this when I watch the news in the morning and in the evenings when I get home from work. I recommend it for anyone that needs cardio without the impact. You may want to find some weights or resistance bands to work your arms, I kept looking for something to hold.
