We have 4-5 people using the machine. Teen female athletes (under 130lbs) and 2 adults )plus a visiting college student! The repair person said that we might have been too rough on the buttons - really - it is a family workout room! We had a Reebok machine for 5 years and no issues for those years! So we are suppose to be gentle on the machine - okay - btw - $700 to replace control panel!

Comments about Bowflex 7 Series Treadmill:
Really nice, I put it together myself and had no problems very easy to do. One other CON is that when it is folded up it does not fold up to a 90 degree angle and still leans down a bit. If you have floors it is a little easier to move but can imagine it would be a pain with carpets.

Comments about Bowflex 7 Series Treadmill:
Both my husband and I use this machine for running. We have had it for three years and use it each a couple times a week in the winter months. Very good machine for the price. It was a great deal less than other running machines and works just fine. I find the controls easy. Programs are easy after you read the manual. Can create your own program. Very, Very Happy for the price!!!

Comments about Bowflex 7 Series Treadmill:
Great machine, but it lacks programs. The last treadmill we had gave us the ability to choose race distances, personalize programs & race against others. . . also had the iFit capability.
For the price, Bowflex should have invested a bit more on a more comprehensive list of programs and better console displays. I get frustrated scrolling through the programs & waiting for the name to roll through the screen each time.
As far as durability and comfort, the platform itself is great. Just wish the displays were better so the experience would be more enjoyable.

Comments about Bowflex 7 Series Treadmill:
I purchased mine used 6 months ago. It's really good for faster walking and is easy to use. If you are a jogger/runner, not all programs offer different levels but you can do custom programs. If you increase the speed or incline, the next interval will return the machine to what is programed. For MY use, that's the only flaw.

Q:
how do i access the alignment screws? also power shutsdown after about ten minutes of use, I have cleared the previous workout program and started from scratch for each workout. Sometimes the fuse located next to the treadmill power switch has to be reset.Asked on 4/19/2011 by Anonymous1 answer

A:
Hello Chrystena, Yes this would be a great treadmill. Also the Schwinn 860 or Nautilus T516 would be great.Answered on 2/18/2011 by Rick from NLS_WHQA:
Chrystena, My girlfriend used the treadmill for about that long of a run and at that speed and it worked well and she really liked it. She normally likes running outside but with the winter months in NW Ohio, it isn't an option. I also used it on and off and I liked it although I am not as serious of a runner as her. The long and wide running surface is nice. I run while watching movies/TV so it is nice to be able to drift from side to side a little without having issues. Unfortunately, after about 4 months of that, the main circuit board went out. The part alone costs about 1/4 what the machine costs and that is with me replacing it. I am not sure if it is related to the workout regiment or if it is just a weird coincidence. The machine is 4 yrs old but only got serious use by my girlfriend. Prior to that it was only used about once a week for 45 minutes so overall for a higher end machine, I would consider it having light use and this was a premature failure of the circuit board.Answered on 3/7/2011 by Zeke and Zeus's Dad from Maumee, OHA:
Hi Chrystena. I bought this treadmill a year ago and use it just as you are describing. I do run outdoors in the summer but that season is short for me. I had a roommate move in 6 months ago and she started doubling the unit's use. We have not had one problem with it. It has been easy on the knees and is well suited for our basement.Answered on 4/20/2011 by RunningFool from Montana
