I used the commercial AirDyne when I worked in the corporate world. When I left I searched for an alternative and owned an AirBike for ten years - it was ok until the sprocket broke in half. I went searching and found the reasonably priced AD2. I have ridden it once and suddenly recalled the great workouts I had previously enjoyed on an AirDyne - awesome! The only initial challenge was getting accustomed to the seat but after a few minutes of riding and sweating that 'hard seat' wasn't an issue. I read one comment about a full body workout - yep if you do this right, set the seat height correctly and balance your workout with accelerations and decelerations you will get a full body workout. Great product!!

Comments about Schwinn Airdyne AD2:
The drive belt has broken down with light use. the seat is too hard or uncomfortable, but this may be fixed with a gel cover from a bike store. Most bike seats will not attach to this device, so just buy a cover until a soft seat option is available from the company.

Perfect but we need to wait for seeing the Calorie section or the RPM or the other section because they loop 5 sec each
But the rest is perfect and I'll use it for long time, I like it.

Comments about Schwinn Airdyne AD2:
We took our time and looked at many different simular products. When it was delivered we found it to be very easy to assemble, only a few parts to put on. Very good quality, heavy duty parts. Machine is just what we wanted upper and lower body workout, with ease. We would recommend the Schwinn airdyne AD2 to anyone. We added a gel seat cover.

I find the resistance too are, even when slowly pedaling. Is there a way of lowering the resistance altogether?Asked on 9/4/2014 by new to fitness1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The resistance on the Airdyne machines is completely controlled by the speed at which you go. The faster you pedal, the harder the resistance is. Alas, there is no way to lower the resistance either.Answered on 9/5/2014 by Joseph B from Nautilus HQ
