Comments about Schwinn 250 Recumbent Bike:

The 250s reviews unlike all its competition will lead you to this bike. Consumer reports also told us this was what we needed for a wife who needed to exercise and avoid impact on her knees. It only took about 2 hours for me to assemble the bike. Construction diagrams are very clear. My only negative comment is the setup of the console. The online manual explained what the paper manual didn't. Only after we looked on line did we figure out how to re enter a second user. Despite that the 250 is a well made. A nice bike for an average user. Thankyou Schwinn.

Comments about Schwinn 250 Recumbent Bike:

With a variety of different fitness programs or levels, the Shwinn 250 recumbent bike is ideal for individuals who desire less impact on knees and joints. It is very comfortable and the seat adjusts so that one experiences a quiet and vigorous ride. I originally purchased the recumbent bike as a gift for my wife who has problems with her knees. An avid jogger/biker who enjoys all types of outdoor activities, I have begun to use the bike in our living room while watching TV as a physical therapy workout after ankle surgery. It is amazing how many miles one can put on the bike while watching several half hour shows. I am getting a great aerobic workout months before I am actually able to start jogging again. The bike is so quite that it does not interfere with the audio of the television. I would recommend this Shwinn 250 to anyone with joint, knee and lower back issues.

My husband and I (both over 275 lbs) got the bike to start our fitness routine. The bike is perfect! Super easy set up, easy to use, like that I can plug in the mp3 player for some tunes while I work. We both have our own profile so we can keep up with our workouts. I don't think we could be happier. It's SUPER nice on days like today when it is 52 and pouring rain!

Comments about Schwinn 250 Recumbent Bike:

I live in the mountains, and it would take me an hour just to get to a gym so I do everything at home. I got this to give me another option of cardio aside from the eliptical on days when I really only did have 30 minutes to work out. I love it. My wife loves it. Having a low impact option that runs quiet and smooth is great and it has kept us on our weight-loss goals. I am a big guy of 290lbs or at least I was when I got it and it's the best stationary bike I've ever used. I'm the kind of guy that my body only reacts if I do something every day and this is great for a quick workout when I dont want to the big long rigorous routine. My wife says her knees feel better than they have since she was a teenager
