Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

This is a very nice home use bike. It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. Came with the power supply. Very easy assembly took about 45 minutes to set up.
Control panel is hard to read in low light.
I like that you can use connect and link it to your My fitness Pal account to track your work outs.

Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

Primarily as a weight loss/control during inclement weather. Only negative might be that on-line owners manual could use greater detail/explanation of each workout program & its' usefulness to achieve a desired result

Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

The bike has good mechanicals and is sturdy. The bike was fairly straight forward to assemble(all tools were included). I would reccomend greasing/oiling all adjustement screws. After daily use for one week, I am still trying find a ideal seat setting. The bike is fairly straight forward to readjust between two users. The console is easy to read. The fans are a nice feature.
It is taking awhile to figure out the console. The instructions for the 2013 model console needed to be downloaded from the Schwinn website. The consol instructions could benefit by adding a flow chart page. In my opinion, the consol progamming is not intuitive.

The only issue I have with the design is that the heart rate pick ups are on the middle of the handle bar. I was able to add extenders for when I go to a tucked position.

Just bought the 130 model and we're ready to roll!
I had both knees repaired and need less resistance than what the settings allow. Even the lowest setting is too much for my 15 year old boy. Is there a setting/adjustment that I can make to lessen the resistance in the lowest setting?
Asked on 6/26/2014 by Eric "The Kneecap" from Lawrenceville, GA

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

Hi Eric! There is no way to over-ride the resistance settings to make a "zero" resistance level. However, setting 1 should provide little to no resistance at all and you might actually be having a problem with the Eddy brake itself. From your description I would recommend calling into our Customer Care department when you can be with the machine to troubleshoot so we can get this resolved. Our telephone number is 1-800-605-3369, and our call center hours of operation are 6 am - 5 pm M-F, Pacific Time. We are closed on July 4, 2014 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
