Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

I love this bike. I just wanted to get a really fast work in my own home and this bike does just that. The seat needs more comfort but you can purchase a seat from them or another store or even just make cushion for your self like I did. Overall great bike.

Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

It meets my need very well. The controls and read-outs are good size and easy to manipulate, though a couple of functions are not very intuitive - but still work okey. I would prefer a 2nd set of sensors, up on the upright bars, for pick-up of heart rate data, but that is just a 'nice-to-have' feature. Resistance levels are good, with broad increments for virtually all speeds and hill-climb simulations. The pedals are on a 1/2" shaft, so many quality replacements won't fit the hole size.

Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

Got this to help keep me riding during the winter months as it gets cold. So far my first impression is it is well made and has nice feel to it. Hope to get a lot of mileage out of it. Have bad arthritis (Ankylosing Spondylitis) and need to keep my joints and lungs stretched and active to keep my pain levels down. And I just plain like riding a bike, I have a mountain bike I ride.

My only complaint would be the location of the console. I think I would have designed it to set at a lower height as to where you could watch TV in front of you while working out instead of from the side.

Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

This is a very nice home use bike. It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. Came with the power supply. Very easy assembly took about 45 minutes to set up.
Control panel is hard to read in low light.
I like that you can use connect and link it to your My fitness Pal account to track your work outs.

        Best Uses

Comments about Schwinn 130 Upright Bike:

The bike has good mechanicals and is sturdy. The bike was fairly straight forward to assemble(all tools were included). I would reccomend greasing/oiling all adjustement screws. After daily use for one week, I am still trying find a ideal seat setting. The bike is fairly straight forward to readjust between two users. The console is easy to read. The fans are a nice feature.
It is taking awhile to figure out the console. The instructions for the 2013 model console needed to be downloaded from the Schwinn website. The consol instructions could benefit by adding a flow chart page. In my opinion, the consol progamming is not intuitive.

The only issue I have with the design is that the heart rate pick ups are on the middle of the handle bar. I was able to add extenders for when I go to a tucked position.

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

Hi Jamie. The only way to upload your saved workouts is to save the workout per the instructions in the owner's manual to a thumb drive via the USB port, and then upload from the thumb drive via computer to www.schwinnconnect.com, which should automatically save your workout data to myfitnesspal, as long as you already have a profile with Myfitnesspal. The Schwinn 130 does not have bluetooth capability, so it cannot save to an iPod or iPad.

We haven't updated the Schwinn 130 since 2013, so you probably have the most recent version if you bought it in the last year or two. The consoles aren't interchangeable with other bikes and there is no upgrade available for it. Thank you.
